Community Centre

Community Centre:

Our building was designed to be used by the community:

  • large halls with kitchens which are great for big groups or parties;

  • small rooms that can be booked for meetings or more personal conversations.

We are wheelchair accessible on every floor and make every effort to be available for community needs.  As such we have a lot of regular groups who use our building from the local area, the activities and aims of these groups are also to serve those who live nearby.

BOOKINGS:

The New Hope Centre is available for hire by anyone in need of a place to hold a meeting, have a coffee morning, run a dance class, conduct staff training, teach cooking, have a birthday party, sell organic food...whatever you can think of.

There are a few guidelines you should bear in mind however:

  • All bookings must vacate the centre by 9.30 p.m.

  • No alcohol should be brought onto the premises

  • The centre is a smoke free zone

  • Activities must not compromise the values and beliefs of the Christian Faith (for instance we would not permit a Halloween party to be held at the Centre) but if you are in any doubt feel free to ask

The complete list of the Terms and Conditions of hire for the New Hope Centre is attached to your booking form. If you decide to hire the Centre you will need to read and abide by them.
